Steve Newsholme is selling this beautiful Marblehead
This British Marblehead (vintage sail number 150), designed by Peter
Dunkling (a well-known British model yacht designer who designed V36s, M
class, and 10-Raters) has been completely and expertly restored by John
Stoudt. Back in the day, the boat was originally free-sailed, and during the
restoration was converted to RC. The original rig was complete and
interesting: the jib was attached to a jib club, there was a sliding mast step,
and the spars were a group of pieces of aluminum tubing that interlocked so
an A, B, or C rig could be installed, depending on the conditions. There were
also three sets of sails. All the original rigging plus John’s restoration notes
come with the boat.
This boat was commissioned by an American banker in London for his 13-
year-old son. They lived close to Hyde Park, and the son would carry the
boat, rig and sails to the Round Pond and assemble the boat for the current
conditions. Reportedly, this boat was very competitive and has since proven
to be fast when sailed here locally. It has a 50-in LWL.
The hull was cleaned of all the original adhesive and reassembled, using
West System epoxy, and a new deck was installed. Hull repairs and faring
work was done. An electronics board was installed, the rudder rehabbed,
and linkage installed. A new high aspect ratio rig with high performance sails
was constructed. All new fittings were used throughout. She is a very
competitive boat and has sailed in vintage nationals. The boat is complete
with electronics, receiver (no radio), and a travel stand. The sails are custom made from Icarex, a high-performance material.

The boat is complete with Spectrum DX6i transmitter with a compatible receiver in the boat as well as a battery. The hull and hatch are freshly painted, and the sails are in good condition. Included are a travel stand and a PVC boat retriever.

Charles Wilson is selling a Victoria and a DF 65
VICTORIA # 7245 Charles built the boat in 2007 and raced it in Annapolis for a couple of years. It sat on the shelf until last year when he upgraded the electronics to 2.4 and sailed it a few times at Willow Valley. It is in excellent condition (no bumps or bruises ). It has carbon fiber spars fitted with "CARR" sails. Electronics are a FUTABA 4YF 2.4GHz (new) transmitter and receiver.

DF 65 Boat is the original model ,purchased in 2012. It comes with a JOYSWAY 2.4 transmitter and receiver . It is currently rigged with a new set of "A" rig mylar sails. The original sails are included.

The boat is complete with Spectrum DX5e transmitter with a compatible receiver in the boat. The boat includes the original set of Victor sails that are in acceptable condition. There is a new set of sails that will come with the boat as well as a travel stand. There is a charger for rthe receiver battery pack. New batteries will need to be acquired.
Boat has not been sailed recently so rigging may need to be tuned. There are the keel and rudder halves that come with the original kit. The boat has factory finished keel and rudder installed. The boat was not sailed a lot.
